Steven Meisel is one of my favorite photographers of all time, and this is one of my favorite editorials of all time. Everything about it speaks to something I love. If I am feeling void of inspiration I always can go to his work and come out of it inspired and excited.

Gifts from Wren and PUREVILE

 I got a delightful package in the mail from my good friend in New York, Wren Britton of PUREVILE.

They say the devil is in the details, and I really felt Satan's presence in this present. 

 Tom was there,

 And so was Edward,

Vivienne came too,

But most importantly, I got TWO different PUREVILE goodies. One was this beautiful Tom of Finland and Odd Fellows brooch

And the other was this adorable skeletal necklace.

This made my whole week/month!

Mickey Christ by VOW

I ordered the Mickey Christ tank from VOW and received it earlier this week!

The boys at VOW, Chris and Jorge are great! Along with my GREAT shirt they sent me a nice little note, GUNK zine 1.5 and their new buttons for their S//S 2012 line!

Buttons! They're great, I keep moving them from my bag to my work lanyard back to my bag, then to a different bag. I love them!

I just got this shirt and I already can't wait to order another!

VOW's new Collection, The Nightmare Continues, will be released on April 23rd at 12 AM.

Dita x Vivienne x Pearl

I think this is one of my favorite photos, it shows the immaculate detailing in the ensemble. The matching shoes, garter, dress, and hat.

This is maybe one of my favorite wedding dresses of all time. Dita Von Teese is flawless to start, then put her in a Mr.Pearl corset and a Vivienne Westwood iridescent dress and I just have no words. I want to wear this to my wedding. Hell I want to wear this every day of my life.

Blow by Blow

I just received my copy of Blow by Blow The Story of Isabella Blow by Detmar Blow. So I'm spending my day in Bed doing some reading. Isabella's family history is VERY interesting. I can hardly wait to get more into this book. So I will most likely spend my day reading in bed.

ATRUMLUDUS

Luis's blog, Atrum Ludus, is a mixture of beautifully styled photographs, his amazing art, and music. Atrum Ludus one of the reasons Pornogothic is even around. He is extremely talented and a major inspiration of mine.

I haven't drawn in quite some time so I decided I was going to start drawing some of my favorite bloggers. I used a few different photos of his on Atrum Ludus as reference, it's not as amazing as his drawings but I'm happy with it.

So if you don't already follow Luis, you need to right now!
